Workflow Applications - Part I
In this age of Information overload, one not only needs powerful tools at disposal, but needs to integrate them into a workflow with least friction, as the tools capabilities and sheer number for specialized usage might become overwhelming in itself, let alone reducing the load.
As a PhD Student, I’ve had to incorporate complex tools across the tasks of getting relevant information, extraction, storage into input sources, processing of notes and archiving them.
There are 54 tools I am using as of now, with almost weekly updates, so I would keep editing this post.

- Obsidian - Note Processing. Powerful Markdown editor. VSCode of markdown. Use it for creating my own wikis

- Notability with Apple Pencil - Digital Hand notes

- Unclutter - Clipboard.Temporary Storage. Menu bar Notes
- Alfred - Replaces Spotlight launcher. My favourite app
- Magnet/Bartender/Cheatsheet - Efficiency tools - window snapping, menu bar organizer, App specific shortcuts via hotkey
- Keyboard Maestro - Most powerful app? Use it for Hotkeys, Macros and Snippets
